I design custom test rigs and small validation machines that turn recurrent failures into explicit, repeatable, and transferable test methods.
I then ensure handover of both the tool and the method towards operational autonomy
I mainly get involved with industrial SMEs facing product behaviors that are hard to characterize or reliably reproduce.
Do you experience any of the following ?
- Recurrent failures that appear random
- Reported issues that cannot be reliably reproduced in controlled conditions
- Performance variations with no clear explanation
- Unpredictable behavior surrounded by too many uncertainties
- The fear of unknowingly shipping a bad unit
I address these situations through a structured, phased approach :
- Upstream analysis to confirm whether a dedicated test rig is justified
- Definition of a precise test intent based on uncertainties, failure modes, and consequence
- Design, build, and validation of the test rig
- Complete handover through documentation and training
Throughout the process, I commit to :
- Stepped clarity
- Controlled scope and cost
- Team input, not delegation
- Designed autonomy
- A clean exit
What I don’t do :
- Design or optimize production processes
- Engage in open-ended R&D without a bounded objective and timeframe
- Ensure long-term maintenance or operation of delivered equipment
